Appalachian Orthopedics to Hold Retirement Party for Randy Johnson, P.T., Jan. 13
On Jan. 13 from 1 to 5 p.m., Appalachian Orthopedics will host a retirement party for Randy Johnson, P.T., at Bristol Train Station, located at 101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Bristol, Virginia. The practice’s providers and staff will be in attendance, and current and former patients are invited to the gathering.
Johnson has provided a remarkable 41 years of service to his patients, including 34 years serving area residents, helping them heal and grow stronger after surgery or injury. The retirement reception for Johnson is a special gathering that will allow current and former patients of his to catch up, share stories and express gratitude for his specialized services.
“We are so grateful for Randy’s years of service to our patients and community. We are also excited for the chance to thank him for his outstanding work and commitment with this event dedicated to him and his patients,” said T. Lisle Whitman, M.D., board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Appalachian Orthopedics.
Johnson graduated from the physical therapy program at the University of Iowa Health Care Carver College of Medicine in 1982. He has practiced in the Tri-Cities region since 1989, with extensive experience in outpatient orthopedic clinics and specializing in the treatment of postoperative shoulder, hip and knee conditions. Johnson and his wife, Teresa, reside in Colonial Heights and have three grown children.
