Dr. Samuel Straus who is originally from Richmond, Virginia, began his education attending Christopher Newport University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular, molecular, and physiological biology. Dr. Straus then went on to complete his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Following that, he went through his podiatric medicine and surgery residency training at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
Dr. Straus delivers comprehensive, high-quality care for a wide range of foot and ankle injuries and conditions. His expertise includes managing diabetic foot care, bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, deformity correction, arthritis management, and fracture care.
Outside of practice, Dr. Straus enjoys spending time with his wife, Adrienne, as well as with family and friends. He is passionate about playing soccer, skiing, running, and going to the gym which all contribute to his love for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
