Robert Stevenson, D.M.Sc., P.A.-C., M.P.A.S., B.S.
Robert is originally from a small town in central Wisconsin. He moved to Virginia to attend Virginia Tech and completed his undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. He then earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the University of Charleston in West Virginia and completed his education by obtaining his Doctor of Medical Science degree at the University of Lynchburg.
Robert has over 6 years of Orthopedic Surgery experience as a Physician Assistant. He previously worked in South Carolina, where he specialized in total joint replacement and reconstruction including hips, knees, and shoulders.
Robert has over 10 years of military experience, serving as an infantryman in the Virginia National Guard for 6 years and deploying to Iraq in 2010. After becoming a PA, he continued serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Army Reserve for 4 additional years.
Robert is board-certified by the NCCPA and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. He happily lives in Abingdon, VA with his wife and two children.
